Headlight for VW Golf TDi

Hi

I need a nearside headlight for a 2007 VW Golf TDi and was wondering if the large online parts sites are good to use. Years ago I’d take my toolkit to a breakers yard and fetch parts myself. I’ve found a few items online but there’s three different types of light for this model.

Have used Parts Gateway search engine to find a used one but need to make sure it’s the right type.

This one looks correct. Anybody use buycarparts?

Any help appreciated.

I've not used them but the site looks fine to me. It does specify the OEM part number that headlight unit matches so you should be able to trace it back through that, or even see if there is the OEM part number on the existing cluster?

Had a look but the few that I found had two lights rather than three in the cluster.

If you wanted to be certain remove the existing one to check the part number on that.

Looks like it is a Golf Plus with amber indicator unit in the light
