I don't understand this, the blurb says he goes to Patagonia, the Sahara and Panama in his new series..can't see any mention of Siberia, France or Greece, any ideas?0
-
Hmm yes, good point Sophika. I've read as much as i could of the blurb and also no mention of France, Greece or Siberia. I picked the answer on the basis that it wouldn't be too hard to survive in France or Greece! However, once I went back and tried to enter myself I got an error.
If anyone manages to enter successfully would they let me know - otherwise I'll get this deleted! If you have nothing constructive to say just move along.0 -
Don't delete it, I want to win it!! It says he goes to the Alps in a previous episode, do you reckon that makes the answer France?0
-
Just can't find the answer anywhere...just a lot about him not really surviving in the wild..but staying in plush hotels etc....
So...could be anywhere!! But maybe not Siberia!Good Luck All
:grouphug:..thanks to all Posters:grouphug:0 -
But Siberia is not a country!I love this forum and thank everybody who contributes to it!0

taken off his own website:Bear finishes filming Season 3 of Man Vs Wild, which feature shows from Everest, Patagonia, the Sahara desert and the jungles of Panama. These air in the USA every friday night on the Discovery Channel. (In December he starts filming in Siberia for the start of the next 'Man Vs Wild' Season)0

That's the Man Vs Wild series though, not the Born Survivor series which the question specifically asks about.
The competition isn't one for me (I avoid Scotland, the MIL lives there :rotfl:) but the Discovery website gives an episode guide to the new series http://www.discoverychannel.co.uk/bornsurvivor/eps/index.shtml which includes:
"European Alps
Every year, 120 million people ski and climb the 80,000 square miles of the Alps, Europe’s greatest mountain range. Unfortunately, every year hundreds of people die enjoying this beautiful wilderness because they’re unable to survive the potentially fatal conditions at heights sometimes reaching 15,000 feet. Armed with a knife, a water bottle, a cup and a flint, Bear parachutes into the Alps to demonstrate vital survival skills. From a radical new technique to save lives in crevasse zones, building a snow shelter to survive alpine storms, and showing viewers how to escape from a fall into a frozen lake, Bear puts his own skills to the test in this ultimate survival challenge."
Now geography isn't my strong pointbut are the European Alps not at least partly in France?! If I were entering that would be my answer anyway
