E.On to E.On next

I am being moved from E.On to E.On Next on the 6th April (transfer complete).
I notice that my £417 credit balance has been transferred already, but I intend to put a meter reading in on the 31st March and E.On next want that to go on my E.On login as my E.On next account will not be set up then.
If my balance has already been transferred, am I going to get a bill from E.On on the 5th April when I leave them?.
E.On next say they are not part of E On.
