If you agree to having a smart meter, you've agreed to having a smart meter, full stop. If you then refuse, expect to be booted off from your chosen tariff.Northern_Wanderer said:

It does say that suppliers must install a smart meter if they are replacing a meter but adds "unless there is a good reason not to". So think of a good reason !
