Will replacing back door with bifolds loose much heat

    Thank you everyone for you replies and apologies for the delayed response.  I think we are going to go with aluminium bifolds.  We plan to increase insulation on the back wall around the doors, and will be fitting a Wundatherm wet underfloor heating system too.  

    Bendy_house i had a quote from GFDHomes and was impressed with the price, including delivery so will probably be using them.

    Last thing now is to work out how to keep the damn flies out when they are open. It doesnt help that mrslongwalks1 loves to cook!  So any pointers on preventing pesky flies coming in would be greatly appreciated

    Sky raisins - The cat sees them as crunchy little snacks packed with protein.
    Short of handing net screens, you'll not keep the little things out. A fly zapper might help to keep the numbers down.
