renewable energy funds

I have invested in the usual safe funds and trackers and now looking to invest in a renewable infrastructure/energy fund. Can anyone recommend one, I cant seem to find one?

Some of the ones I've found include (and these are not recommendations):

FP Foresight UK Infrastructure Income Fund
    Guinness Sustainable Energy
Blackrock Global Funds Sustainable Energy Fund

and if you don't mind some other ecology friendly things as well (like waste management)

    Jupiter Ecology Fund

Investment platforms like Fidelity nowadays have ESG investment finder tools that you can use to help find similar funds.

There are also ETFs (iShares offers at least one) and Investment Trusts

I'm not aware of any that are purely renewables/energy, but there are relatively few trusts out there so it's not difficult to build your own portfolio from the likes of GRID, GSF, BSIF, FSFL, NESF, UKW, TRIG, DORE & JLEN. You can use the AIC website and filter on Renewable Energy Infrastructure to give you a list of trusts as a starting point:
A couple newish fund of funds (not a recommendation):
    VT Gravis UK Infrastructure Income
    VT Downing Listed Infrastructure Income

Pictet have a range of funds that cater for certain investment areas.  Most platforms carry at least some of the Pictet funds

This fund also has interests in infrastructure not connected with renewables. Also it has a highish charge of 1.5%, but is quite well diversified .

One I'm invested in  - VT Gravis Clean Energy

    https://www.graviscapital.com/funds/gravis-clean-energy/about

    https://www.morningstar.co.uk/uk/funds/snapshot/snapshot.aspx?id=F00000ZRV0

0.7% OCF is reasonable compared to its competitors and available on most platforms.

Going off on a slight tangent, but you could consider something slightly different such as:

    https://rippleenergy.com

The risks in this being you would own a 'share' of a single wind farm, whereas if you picked an investment trust you could own a share of multiple wind farms, and your assets would be more liquid so easier to take your money out if you needed access.

It is basically a P2P/crowdfunding site with an original twist of potentially getting cheaper electricity.
The main risk is that windfarms can hit construction problems, and a number of P2P loans to windfarms have gone bad when unexpected issues appeared . Not saying that will happen here but it could .
Also withdrawing money before the 20 years is up could be problematic.

This looked interesting at first glance. However, the rate of ROI is not great (around 4.9% over 25 years according to their own literature - 13 years to break even), at which point your capital is owning part share in some very old wind turbine(s). Just doesn't stack up well compared to shares in UK Wind (UKW) which pays a better dividend income, offers capital preservation and hopefully growth over the same period, has dividend income linked to RPI, offers massively greater diversification with far less risk and is more tax efficient. Meanwhile Ripple Energy are laughing all the way to the bank with their 7% +VAT arrangement fee.
