Its more likely a rogue employee in an environment with poor systems of control than a systemic issue or an active decision from the organisation.
That said, some GPs at least are fairly blasé about these things... took my GP surgery 2 years to update my address properly with them sending the occasional letter to a strange hybrid of my past and present address (thankfully just a few buildings distance between). Reception kept saying they'd corrected it, kept reverting back, next receptionist insisted it must have been a failing on the last person rather than an IT problem.0 -
What garage? Police took my bike (bicycle) back to the neighbours and I went to A&Ecsgohan4 said:
what about the garage who took your bike as above?Deleted_User said:I was involved with one on a bike with a car hitting me. 100% the NHS sold the data, they were the only people beyond my family who knew about it and the accident claims people contacted me before I'd even spoken to the other insurer
One must be pretty brave with their job to disavow ICO rules on data in the NHS
The only people who had my number were the hospital and obviously the other person's insurance (later on, who I couldn't even speak to until their driver admitted it to them) who weren't going to sell that to third party accident firms - the first thing they said was to offer me a new bike!0
