That said, some GPs at least are fairly blasé about these things... took my GP surgery 2 years to update my address properly with them sending the occasional letter to a strange hybrid of my past and present address (thankfully just a few buildings distance between). Reception kept saying they'd corrected it, kept reverting back, next receptionist insisted it must have been a failing on the last person rather than an IT problem.0 -

One must be pretty brave with their job to disavow ICO rules on data in the NHS
The only people who had my number were the hospital and obviously the other person's insurance (later on, who I couldn't even speak to until their driver admitted it to them) who weren't going to sell that to third party accident firms - the first thing they said was to offer me a new bike!0
