Washing up bars

Can anyone recommend a washing up bar to replace Fairy Liquid? I have moved away from plastic wrapped liquid soaps and shampoos but can't figure out how to shake off the plastic bottle for washing up. All my earth saving swaps have to be cost effective I'm afraid so things have to be cheaper per unit or last longer. I've seen washing up bars and household soap but not sure what would work for hand washing dishes.

Have you thought about buying in bulk & decanting to a glass pump bottle? Or using a large bottle & buying from a refill shop? You are removing single-buy plastic bottles then.2021 Decluttering Awards: ⭐⭐🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇 2022 Decluttering Awards: 🥇

I have two old Fairy bottles that I refill from the refill shop.
Two so I never run out or need to make a hurried trip.
I tried two brands and pay 50p per 100ml for Fill, because I didn't find the cheaper one- SESI, £1.20 for 500ml very good at all.1 -
I have used grated plain soap before - probably historical and worked OK.

Have a look on You Tube - certainly videos on there of making your own. Also worth googling to see what comes up.

I have been trying to get away from Procter and gamble products as they are owned and made in russia. Just my little protest. So I am very interested in your solid washing up soap idea .thanks.

We use Fill washing up liquid from our refill shop.
I kept our empty aldi plastic bottle and use that for the washing up then I take an empty milk bottle to the shop to stock up.
Had it almost 2 years now and it works great.
I am not sure on the cost, but I think more expensive than own brand...maybe compares with actual Fairy?
I had never considered a bar soap for it though, do they lather up as quick as liquid?Grocery challenge June £241.19/£320. July £303.97/£215 August £318.68/£310
