Last service and MOT was 22/03/2022 so it has been a year. 

Did you get it MOT'd early last year, or does it really expire tomorrow?

As for cost, it'll likely be an hours labour + materials. Assuming you're taking it to a smaller independent place and not a main dealer or a specialist, I'd expect it to be under £100. You'll need to phone and ask.

Sorry, MOT is due by 18th April. I always tried to get it booked in for a service and MOT at same time as soon as I could to give time to rectify anything that failed on an MOT.

Whenever my car is put in for an mot it goes up on the inspection car lift so they can check the underneath for damage, rust etc, the same thing they would need to do to change the oil and filter so I ask them to do it at the same time as the mot. I supply my own oil and filter using the " special codes" on the eurocarparts website, carparts4less is a sister company and both will deliver to your door if over a certain amount for free.
