I was going to suggest what tacpot said.

The OPG are useless. I received an email from them SO full of spelling mistakes and poor grammar that I assumed it was a hoax. Every third word was a spelling mistake it was that bad.

I got in touch with them and copied the email to them and they replied saying it was genuine and the person who wrote it DID work for them. I was disgusted and told them so and they replied and said they would discuss it further with her!!!  In my opinion she should be sacked or disciplined. How can anybody get paid to send out rubbish like that?  They are a disgrace.
It is very difficult to sack a person just because they made spelling errors, especially if they have worked at OPG for more than 2 years. Their performance may warrant retraining, redeployment to another area of work or some form of disciplinary action. Some blame must lie with the line manager for not monitoring the person's output or placing them in a position where they are incapable of performing the task satisfactorily.

As you have no right to know what action would be taken against the employee, "discussing it with her" is actually the best you can expect and some may argue you shouldn't even have been told this.
OK I have just dug out the original paperwork and the person who sent the email was a “Safeguarding Officer”.  Both myself and the care home concerned were so sure it was a scam because it was riddled with errors that I contacted the OPG.  As I said they confirmed it was genuine, that the person named DID work for them and the OPG apologised.  What the Team Leader who replied said was “This was legitimately from OPG. I do understand that there were spelling mistakes which could appear to resemble spam and raise questions regarding its legitimacy. This has been used as feedback to the safeguarding officer in question.”  🤣🤣

Words like “enquiery” “asesment” “regads” “perticular” “finactial” were just a few of the mistakes in the email.

Never mind giving her “feedback” what she needs is lessons in basic English.

Same experience with the person I'm dealing with! First there were one or two errors, but I noticed that every email was riddled with them.

I've had the displeasure of communicating with some terrible governmental bodies, but OPG takes the cake.

I know!  It is truly shocking that people like this can be dealing with important work for the OPG.      I do hope you get to deal with someone who knows what they’re talking about.

That level of inaccuracy is worrying and suggests there may be problems other than just bad spelling.
If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales

Quite!  You can see why we thought it was a scam ….. probably from someone in Nigeria who wanted to give us a million pounds if we sent him all our bank details.  🤣🤣
