Hi
I will be fixing a support rail to the wall when fitting the kitchen base and wall units.
The rail is fixed to the wall and the units just hang on to the rail and also have the units feet to sit on

What fixings do you recommend for plasterboard thats dot and dabbed?
I usually use the metal self drill type https://www.screwfix.com/p/easyfix-self-drill-plasterboard-fixings-metal-32mm-100-pack/2422h
but have now thought about the https://www.screwfix.com/p/rawlplug-hollow-wall-anchors-m6-x-52mm-20-pack/68410 hollow wall type also.
Any advice would be great.
Thanks

Neither of those imho.
Dot and dab plasterboard: use longer screws and proper long rawlplugs into the block or brickwork the PB is dabbed onto.
I would likely choose something like these

Some holes will be PB void block, others will be PB dab adhesive block.2 -
These are designed for dot and dab: Corefix Metal & Plastic 100 Heavy Duty Dot & Dab Wall Fixing 10 x 95mm 24 Pack | Wall Plugs | Screwfix.comThe comments I post are my personal opinion. While I try to check everything is correct before posting, I can and do make mistakes, so always try to check official information sources before relying on my posts.1

Have a look at Rigifix fixings. I used them for the same thing on a dot and dab wall and they are rock solid1
