guys im on girlfriends laptop, and its an advent 8111 laptop with windows XP service pack 2.
How the hell do i get into safe mode??? i keep hitting F8 on startup but im not getting the safe mode option lol any ideas?

You may have to hit the blue Fn Key as well as the key that says F*0

tried that as well mate and all it did was reduce the contrast of the screen lol ive never known a laptop to be so hard to get it into safe mode lol
