Bulb EV tariff longevity and price cap
I’m with Bulb and was on their variable tariff for ages. I recently purchased an EV and switched to their EV variable tariff which seems very competitively priced, even with the April increases (5.71p/kWh off-peak, 24p/kWh peak rising to 7.5p/34p in April).
My questions are:
- Is my EV variable tariff rate protected by future electricity prices by the price cap in the same way as the standard variable tariff?
- Can Bulb withdraw their tariff for existing customers without offering comparable rates? Especially if they get bought or receive pressure from the gov administrator to reduce costs.
Thank you

This will be contractual. Check your T&C to see what you agreed to.
