New car battery warranty
Hi. Bought a new car battery in Jun 2020. Battery has a 3 year warranty. Just recently its not been holding charge, had it tested, result was that it should be returned under warranty.
So, I returned it to the shop and they replaced it, no question (didnt even test it).
The new battery, if bought new also has a 3 year warranty. But because this was a warranty replacement, I dont get a 3 year warranty, only the remainder of the original warranty.
Does this sound normal?

Yes, completely normal, this is just how warranties work. The warranty is related to the initial purchase.UncleZen said:Hi. Bought a new car battery in Jun 2020. Battery has a 3 year warranty.
