Neighbour from hell destroying my fencing

I live on a hill, the fencing in between mine and next door isnt the best in the wind, so i brought one new panel, attached it to the old one for re-enforcment.
Next door didnt like that i was looking at a new one whilst they had the old one their side, so they ripped off the old one. The storms weve had recently blew out the new one, so i took it out and again re-enforced it with old bits of wood, but theyve now ripped all that off aswell. Ive got this on CCTV. Please help
Im at my wits end with them, ive had years of hell from them!

Who owns the old fence?

years of hell?
Do they own their home?
I'd suggest selling up and moving if they do.
Perhaps even get a friend to dress up as some punk raving looney and look round the house to purchase it, making sure the neighbour sees, and even get them to knock on the neighbour's front door to pretend to meet the neighbours and ask if they're into drumming and rock as they are planning on teaching drum lessons...Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)1 -
Who is responsible for maintaining the boundary?
Do your deeds specify a requirement for you to install and maintain a fence?
Do you have any pets?
Who owns the old fence?
On whose land was all the reinforcement based?
To be honest, although the answers to the above will determine who's right, this is a trivial matter in the context of what sounds like a bigger problem, the blunt solution to which is put up with it or move. Winning a battle over a fence panel isn't going to win you a war.0 -
Criminal damage if it is your fence? Although how likely the police are to be interested in what they would see as a relatively minor neighbour dispute is open to question.
Have you tried "tea and Cakes" approach or spoken to neighbours or is it beyond that stage?
Might receive more answers on House Buying, Selling & Renting forum - plenty of queries re neighbour, fencing and boundary disputes on there0 -
Indeed, this isn't really anything to do with consumer rights.0
