Can I Get a Refund on a Day 2 PCR Test Kit?

I purchased two Day 2 PCR test kits on 10 March which are no longer required.
The boxes are untouched; nothing has been opened or used.
The kits are also not registered - other than submitting delivery information the company holds no details that they could have used so far to allocate the tests to an individual and thus I don't believe any service has yet to have been provided.
When I enquired they first told me that providing the kits were unused, unopened and unregistered that they could be returned if no longer necessary. On clarification (as their returns policy they linked stated completely differently) they have said they cannot be returned. I attempted to query whether because I ordered them less than 14 days ago I could return them under statutory rights but this question has been overlooked.
Could anyone provide any clarification as to whether I can return them under the Consumer Contracts Regulations please?

Which company is it?0 -
There are various exemptions for medical supplies, so this will be contractual between you and the testing company.
If you post which company you booked with, this will be the first step for someone to check the terms and conditions for you.💙💛 💔0 -
How did they tell you that the kits could be returned ?

It's not clear if tests can be refused a return on health and safety reasons, so arguing another technicality will get the OP nowhere.0 -
