2. 1 year fixed v22 at £165 a month states the price won’t change
any suggestions it only gives me 2 options

It is not that the price won't change, it is that your unit rate won't change, if your usage is different from their estimate then your bills, and ultimately your monthly direct debit will change.Rebecca5833 said:Good afternoon

The monthly amounts are largely irrlevant, you need to compare the standing charges and unit rates, then see where you think you will be based on previous usage, but the big unknown is the October 22 change in the price cap, which is an increase that no one can be sure of (estimates range from 20-100% at the extreme).
Either way it is a gamble, so the choice has to be yours.0 -
You MUST get your head around that those quoted DD figures are only ESTIMATES based on the size of the property and average usage
Actual costs are bound to be different and can vary significantly from the estimates if you are at home a lot.
