Getting a comparison for electricity.

Are there any places at all where it is possible to compare the new April tariffs, even if you could compare are there any suppliers who are accepting new customers? I asked because I'm on an E7 standard tariff with a night rate of just over 18p/kwh and read on a thread here tonight that EDF are just over 13p/kwh for their night tariff. I went to their website but they are not providing any new quotes ot taking any new customers at this time.
I suspect this is the same for all suppliers or does anyone know differently?

You can find EDF's standard variable rate card here. There is quite a wide variation by region so the 13p/kWh rate might not be available to you.

The standard variable rates are virtually identical with all suppliers since they are governed by the price cap. It's fixed term tariffs where there are significant differences.0

We’re currently with Utility Warehouse for our electricity - we’ve been paying a delicious 7.xxx a unit for our overnight electric for the past 6 months, but sadly those days are shortly to come to an end, I suspect forever. On paper, and with our day/night split (around 25%/75%) we could potentially save a small amount by switching to EDF, but at the moment we’ve decided to stay out - the saving IS small, and allowing that obviously during the summer months we use a lot less overnight, right now it doesn’t feel like the right choice for us. If we were at the other end of the year it would be a no brainer though I think.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

I will be taking the advice of EssexHebridean and staying with Utility Warehouse for the time being.1
