Did you get a final bill from GNE showing the credit?
Also, GNE were not liquidated in Jan '21, they went into administration back then, the process only reached the stage of liquidation last month...

  • Try writing to the Administrator. They should be able to tell you what final bill information was passed on to the SoLR.

Just to mention that other SOLR transfers have taken far longer than your current wait so you aren't yet at a point where there is obviously an unexpected problem I'd say.

I contacted Resolver about my credit with Green Energy and had a cheque in 3 weeks

Did you miss the fact this was January 2021 to today, so 15 months? I'm not sure I've see any SOLRs take this long!

    Glad it is all sorted.
For the record, the difference between liquidated and 'in administration' would have mattered if you needed to get any proof from them, but fortunately it wasn't necessary.

  • Yes I'm glad it's resolved
I did have proof thanks to Martin Lewis who advised GNE customers to take pictures of any credit and meter readings.
I think GNE was the 1st or 2nd energy company to go.
I'm 70 I remember when there was only British Gas, M.E.B.electricity Company, Post Office for telephones for the Midlands anyway. Not every change is for the best.
    Thankyou everyone for your help.
