Bus Lane Fine

Hi, yesterday I received a fine from Manchester City Council about an "alleged" bus lane infraction. I checked the road where it was and it's notorious for catching people out, so much so that the MEN has run multiple stories on it. 

Manchester City Council's own website states that a bus lane is clearly marked with white lines with the words bus lane written on the road, however the only signage for this "bus lane" is as below.

I would argue that in the dark traveling at 20MPH, that is not adequate signage to alert drivers that it is a "bus lane". 

How do I go about appealing this given that the Watchdog believes it is inadequate signage, but Manchester City Council still stands firm that it is adequate.

You can only follow the council appeals procedure and present any evidence that it is inadequate

Have a read through some of the other threads there before you post your own to get the hang of what information they need from you in your opening post - but as a minimum you will need to post redacted photos/scans of all correspondence you've received from the council (both sides, if appropriate) as they need to see all the small print.
