Just out of interest how much of that would £150 get you...... Asking for a friend.
Got my bill this morning, no discount applied but a note at the bottom saying that i might be re-billed because of the £150 discount.

The people living in a Band E house will need to pay their next-door neighbours living in a Band D house £150 in addition to their own 55% increase, i.e. about 65%. Perhaps, the two neighbours should agree to share the £150 appropriately in the interest of morals.
I have osteoarthritis in my hands so I speak my messages into a microphone using Dragon. Some people make "typos" but I often make "speakos".

Honestly, its £150 and you pay your taxes (I presume).  I would just keep it.  It may be specifically aimed at helping with heating costs, but national insurance, council tax, water rates, broadband, mobile phone, petrol and and food are all going up as well.  Unless you are so comfortable you won't even notice it - in which case, yeah I would donate it, I would take it as  basic help towards the increased cost of living.

It seems the Tories have become Labour and are dishing out money and Labour have nowhere to go.

Dunno, off the top of my head I can think of a few things!  Free public transport, free nationalised nursery care, massive increase in good quality social housing...  Just off the top of my head!

Obviously I meant free at the point of demand, and paid for by taxation.

So don't vote for it. The whole point of taxation is to provide for every body, guided by a majority mandate at the polls.

Any further questions, I'll be publishing my manifesto in due course  :D
