Meter mix up
Hello, really hoping someone can help with this! When a neighbour moved her business into the village where my business is - she used a broker to switch her energy over, the broker seems to have put the meter serial number from my business down as hers and she has been paying it. This was only noticed when she has also been billed from another company and she questioned it. I had no closure notice from my previous supplier and it appears the supply was taken over in November 2020. Since September last year we have raised numerous complaints through the current supplier asking for my supply to be put back, they said in September they would and then closed the complaint. Whilst waiting for that bill to come in from my original supplier or at least acknowledgment of my being back with them it was obvious this wasn’t happening. They are refusing to take our complaints seriously or put the account in my name from now. I am going to have to stick with them due to being unable to go with anyone else at this current time. My original supplier was SWALEC and I am stuck with Scottish power. As it stands I am not paying my electric and I have no way of anyone listening to me at Scottish power. Any help greatly appreciated!!
