GHIC delays

I applied for new GHIC cards for me and the family about 3 weeks ago. It said at the end of the form that cards should arrive within 10 working days. The website now says they are experiencing delays but does not give any further information.
Has anyone here recently applied for a ghic and how long did it take to arrive?
We are due to travel in about 2 weeks and starting to get a little anxious.
Thanks!

You dont really need the card. Think of your passport as being pretty much the same as a GHIC card as this is what gives you the health cover in the first place. All the card does is make any situation a little easier to deal with.

Got ours earlier this month, did wait just over three weeks for them.1

I applied for ours on 10th March and they arrived yesterday.2

Just to update on this. They arrived today 28th March, having applied on 2nd March (with automatic acceptance by email).
Judging by the responses here it seems quite random how long it will take, but it does seem that it takes longer than the 10 days quoted. So apply well ahead if you think you will need one!2 -
I've just received one exactly two weeks after applying for it (14th/28th March).
