Just had this flyer through the letter box .. does anyone have any thought on the value of the £1000 grant .

They'll have put £1000 on the price before thay "deduct" it.

Basic rule is that if somebody approaches you with an offer it will be to their advantage.

Best steer clear, and consider alerting your local Trading Standards.

I have the same flier.
I contacted Trading Standards and the solar trade certificating bodies RECC. ESE are not members of RECC but were hauled in to RECC tribunal panel in 2018. [I cannot post links as a new member but go to RECC website and search "ESE Group"]
Also RECC issued a warning about a similar marketing flier from ESE in 2020.

This company (and its Directors) have a track-record of dubious trading and should be avoided.  They are not members of any of the five key UK solar trade associations.  I wonder why???
The company also has (according to the flier) a very high TrustPilot score. TrustPilot are auditing them.
ESE are at least assured that most consumers don't do enough Due Diligence before engaging contractors.  It's a shame, but hopefully some will stumble on this message board and be better informed.
