My friend is thinking of selling his house and has similar quotes from Rettie, Corum & Aberdein Considine to sell his property? He was wondering which of the 3 firms people would instruct to sell there homes & if anyone has had bad experiences from any of the companies

I find Aberdein Considine very expensive1

I wish I had used Rettie when selling - we chose a different agent based on promises about buyers on their books that turned out to be false. Not one of the others you have named. Family members have used Rettie several times and found their service to be excellent.1

I used a different agent from the ones you mention, or the one SB used, so can't comment on them. The one I used was excellent, sold the flat on first viewings to a very keen cash buyer who was happy to wait for confirmation to be granted. TBH I didn't shop around but am happy enough with their services. They did all the viewings etc as it was during covid restrictions last June.
