SSE - OVO gas account closed
Hi, SSE wrote to us advising that we would be moving to OVO, nothing needed to be done by us, everything would be handled by SSE and OVO. That certainly hasn't happened!
SSE have cancelled my gas account so I have no access to view my account (I have always had an online account) I have been told that my SSE account has started the migration to OVO on 5th January 2022 but I have had no notification from OVO of new account details and my direct debit has been cancelled so I am not making any payments for my gas.
Having phoned SSE they have told me that it is no longer their problem as they have closed my gas account (they still have my electric account open). I have tried to phone OVO several times and am promised that someone will call me back - which doesn't happen.
Right now I am still getting gas (who from I don't know?) but am getting further behind with my payments and I was in credit with SSE of £261 which seems to have disappeared??
Anyone else having similar issues moving to OVO?
