E.ON: Next Flex or Online V13?

Hi.
Sorry, I know different E.ON tariffs have been mentioned here, but I can only find advice from when the V11 and V12 tariffs were still available.
I missed the boat on these, and have had the email asking to choose between Next Flex or Online v13. Seems as though both are pretty rubbish options, but am I right in thinking the Next Flex would be better than the extortionate v13? Or are there any other options I've not seen?
Thanks. James.

Only you can make the call. Compare the units rates and standing charges, marry both up with your own use (actual if possible rather than what is being estimated) and factor in that we are almost certainly going to see another uplift in capped prices in October. Martin has been advising various levels above the cap where it might be a relatively safe option to fix, but you'll really need to do the maths yourself for your own individual circumstances. (Once you have you could always post here for verification that your calculations are correct - someone will be able to help).

I am with EON.Next and on my annual electricity usage of 3410kWh v13 is over £500pa more then Next Flex from April. Do I want to pay £250 extra for 6 months in the summer in the hope I will claw it back next winter if the October price cap allows Next Flex to increase massively? And that's just electricity. I haven't done the maths for gas.
  • Can someone post a link to the range of Eon Next tariffs available or give the rates from April 1st.  As a present customer I'm struggling to find this page.
