It's risky having it in a S&S ISA, if the value drops you've lost part of the deposit you've saved hard to put away.
Absolutely. S&S ISA (depends on what investments held in it) is suitable for long term savings, but very risky for house deposit in the next year or so.

Exactly - I have £2k seperate in a S&S ISA, nearly all of it in Index Funds, and has made losses so far this year due to world events but know it's a 5+ year play - I might tap into it if I need it as part of a purchase only if absoluely nessacery

You have got £4,000 in your LISA for this Tax year and another £4,000 ready to in to the LISA after April the 5th ?
    government bonus of £1,000

Yep, come 6th April I'll look to put another £4k in there - definetly worth doing vs. leaving it in a savings account!
