Hi there.
I am on the look out for a rechargeable battery charger but there are loads out there and I am not sure which one to go for.
I am after a smart/intelligent one.
Any advice on what to look for or recommended models would be much appreciated.
Thanks very much.

Sorry - should have said that I am going to be charging AA and AAA batteries.
There are a few devices, that have 9V, so I might consider that as an option (but it is not a deal breaker).0 -
What type of AA and AAA?

NiMH 1.2v (I have some of these, already, that might still work) and will probably be the type I will be buying in the future.

Happy with my Energiser https://www.argos.co.uk/product/9801114
It's "smart" insofar that it detects iffy batteries. Charges batteries in an hour or less (they do get pretty hot).1 -
I have had one of these for years always reliable and used regularly to charge batteries I use in cameras, it can refresh older batteries that are are getting tired'

IKEA do a smart-ish charger for £5. I don't have any experience of it but the batteries get excellent reviews. It appears they are rebadged Eneloop at a much lower price.

I've got a few sets of Ikea batteries which are very good. I've also got an Ikea usb aa/aaa charger which was very cheap, £2? Its slow but works well. Their £5 Stenkol charger looks good.OP. I've got one 9v, PP3? rechargeable battery. Based on this one they are very slow to charge compared to aa or aaa.1

Normal, 9v are for very low drain devices so they usually require a slow charge also. You can fast charge them
but it reduces their lifespan drastically.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...1
