Buying a house - do we need gas and electrical certificates?

Hi
Solicitor has advised for gas and electrical certificates as seller did not have one. House is a 1900 property. We plan to live in it and not a rental
The boiler is newly installed 2021, and electrics rewire in 2014 according to owner. Surveyer has said the fuse box and boiler is modern
Should we get gas and electrical certificates?
How much does it cost?
Thank you!

No certs needed, but a boiler installation cert would be good.
I am not a cat (But my friend is)2 -
The boiler and rewire should have building regs signoff, if both are in place I wouldn't bother with additional inspections.
The boiler should be under warranty and have an annual service as a warranty requirement, so you'll need to have that done when the year is up anyway.1 -

After I sent them the names of certificates , they are able to locate them and provided the electrical installation condition report and a GASAFE certificate/installation cert for the boiler1 -
Did the boiler have a manufacturer's warranty? How long? Transferable?
