Lidl dried dog food, any good?

I’m travelling through France, Switzerland, Italy and Greece with two labradors who eat kibble. As Lidl can be found through Europe, my question is, is their dried dog food any good? TIA

I'm not sure that anybody else's experience of it will be strictly relevant as what their dog likes yours may not or vice versa.Surely the simple answer is to buy some now and see how your dogs get on with it, if they like it then that seems like a solution (although a subsequent question to ask might be whether it's the same formulation at all Lidls) and if they don't then you'll have to think of something else.0

Dog food is exempt from the "meat and dairy" import rule IF it is for health reasons.
So if you buy a sack maybe grain free, or for gentle digestion then that would be a good enough reason for it to be exempt.
I haven't heard from anyone (caravan and motorhome forums) who has had been searched specifically for meat and dairy contraband. The border forces are more interested in drugs and people smuggling. Last year we observed the French border force doing a few spot checks but ignored portable fridges and caravan and motor home fridges.0 -
