Short Term Car Requirement

Options
Hi

What's the cheapest way to have use of a car for circa 9 months in between current leased vehicle being returned and new one (on a long waiting list!) being provided? Short term lease deals are very expensive, are there better options?

thanks

Define 'expensive' - really depends on the type of car/mileage

There are (or at least were) services out there where you could take over cancelled leases without the high up-front costs. Given your need for flexibility (you've no guarantee in the current market that your car will be ready in 9 months) you might be better offer buying/re-selling when the time comes.
