DMP and job security checks

Hi I entered into a DMP in December with £35k of debt and now some of that had moved to collectors but I am with Stepchange and not having issues. I am being made redundant this week and start a new job next week, some good news for a change.
However for this job I have just had to do a NSVS vetting form which is very intrusive. It has been difficult as my £12k loan is now with a collector and I still have to show it as Barclays. There forms don't really allow for debt collectors! So question is with a £35k DMP that has trashed my credit will I get the security clearance? It would break me if it was rejected as this is a much better job and will allow me to increase my monthly payments by around £100. Crazy thing is I will just be fixing printers so will have no acess to any IT related stuff really.
Anybody with a DMP/debt sucessfully get through this??
thanks
Rob

A DMP is an informal arrangement, and doesn't in itself appear on your credit file.
However your debts will be marked as either "in default" or "arrangement to pay" to reflect the fact you are not making the contractual monthly repayments.
Your far too early into the process for any of your accounts to have been sold on as yet, its more likely the collectors are just acting on behalf of their clients, so the original creditors will still own your debts.

You'll have access to reports that have been left on the printers and presumably access to the offices where the printers are, so there might be reports and presentations on desks or screens.
