Octopus Fixed Term prices.

I’m on July 21 fixed price contract with Octopus fixed until September 2023. I had an email yesterday saying my prices are increasing from April 1st 2021 and advising me to move to the new price cap tariff.
Can they do this? I’ve emailed but no response yet.

What do the terms of the contract say? They will spell out the definition of "fixed" and whether prices can move. It's possible that you're fixed at the cap tariff until Sep 2023, so as the cap moves upwards, your rates move with it.Monners60 said:I’m on July 21 fixed price contract with Octopus fixed until September 2023. I'd wait until they've replied. You may have received the original email by mistake.0
