Chatham & Gillingham??

Just to jump on the bandwagon - Chatham and Gillingham aren't the nicest of places.
A few years ago, many I know referred to Chatham as 'Chavham' because the town centre was notoriously full of chavs. I couldn't be paid enough to live there.
Rochester isn't so bad but I'd expect is a bit more expensive.Know what you don't0 -
My forum username is taken from my love of the football team there, Gillingham. Gillingham as a town, however, is horrible. Genuinely can't think of one part of the area that is nice (apart from the Priestfield stadium!!). Chatham does have some nice parts, supplemented by obligatory rough areas.0

I actually posted this question to prove a point to my husband. He wanted to look in those areas. Luckily we are now in the process of buying a house in Colchester.Exodi said:Just to jump on the bandwagon - Chatham and Gillingham aren't the nicest of places.
