Does anyone know how these things actually work ? Is there any difference to just washing in plain water?Decluttering, 20 mins / day Jan 2024 2/22

How it works
Inside ecoegg are two types of unique powerful cleaning pellet which activate in the water, working together to produce a powerful foam that gets right into the fibres of your clothing to lift off dirt and grime with ease.
Here’s the science bit – the ceramic pellets in the egg weaken the adhesion between the dirt and fibres, while mineral pellets naturally ionise the oxygen molecules in the water, which then penetrate deep into fabrics to lift dirt away without fading colours or damaging your clothes.
and somewhere else.Ingredients
Sodium C12-C16 Olefin Sulfonate
Sodium Carbonate
Calcium Carbonate
Sodium Bicarbonate
Sodium Metasilicate
Dodecyl Alcohol, Ethoxylated
Cellulose Gum
Sodium Citrate

I have used one for many years , I use fairy for stains which is a degreaser and works on most things. I would have used stain remover/fairy even when using powder.Focus on contribution instead of the impressiveness of consumption to see the true beauty in people.1

Long time lurker on these boards. Big thank you to all, you have saved me a fortune!
I find them great for a quick freshen, but not adequate for a full wash.
What I do is put it in with one third to half the amount of washing liquid and fabric conditioner and get a good clean with the bonus of everything being incredibly soft.2 -

To ionise a molecule requires energy such as electrical, extreme heat, or nuclear decay. Mineral pellets will not cause ionisation unless they are highly radioactive.Basic high school physics that unfortunately, most people forget once they are out of school.
