Patio caked in bird poo

Our patio is absolutely caked in bird poo - small white patches that now all join
We have tried a scrubbing brush and hot water but it won't shift
Any suggestions ?
We cant use any chemiicals due to the colour of the stones and mortar - according to the warranty instructions
The wife thinks that it is just efforvescenvce leatching from the stones but I have seen the guls doing their business on it and it it is not over the whole patio - just a flightpath !

If I was half as smart as I think I am - I'd be twice as smart as I REALLY am.

Try one of the dedicated patio/driveway cleaners, or, washing up liquid and a brush, then hose off..

We tried a stiff brush and washing up liquid - but it wouldnt shift
And chemicals cant be used because of the waranty
Its also "loose fill" mortar - so pressure washers are not advised

You have a warranty.  Is there an address, telephone number or website on it?  Do you know who cuts/manufactures the stones?

You need to contact them directly as this cannot be an unknown problem to them and they should be able to offer you advice.
