In RETURNS AND REFUNDS their T&Cs say 'it is also important that you contact our customer support first at: info@extreme-gear.co.uk to generate an RMA.'

Did you do that and has the company confirmed they received it?

Some companies refuse or dispose of parcels without a valid RMA number to protect their staff from abusive or obnoxious stuff.
If the Birmingham address is just a correspondence address they also might just ignore unexpected parcels.

PayPal will not do anything until the return is confirmed.
I emailed them and requested an RMA, no response.

I have Royal Mail evidence of a signature delivery.

@pinkshoes I didn't see a phone number on their website?...will call Paypal tomorrow.

The address given may be a warehouse distribution centre which caters for several companies. Without the requisite RMA the warehouse may have no way of knowing which company it is for.

Whose signature is on the tracking?  Since  covid the posties have been signing deliveries.

Then the number is listed as TEL: +44 7534513953

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)

Well happy ending, I called Paypal and once they confirmed the tracking number had been delivered via Royal Mail they issued an immediate refund.

Thanks to all on this thread for their help and advice.
