Land registry - remortgage

I need to remortgage my new property 6 months after purchase. I heard there were delays at the land registry so I wanted to know if the house needs to be registered at the land registry in my name before I am able to do this.

Yes, it does.If it isn't registered yet then you can ask the solicitor that dealt with your purchase to have it expedited and then it should be sorted in the next couple of weeks.1

If you’ve bought a new build or an unregistered property and it’s still with us then your conveyancer can request expedition once you have the mortgage offer. Expedition reduces the remaining wait time but you need the offer on paper.“Official Company Representative

Hi, what are the waiting times at the Land registry for transferring property? I'm a beneficiary and an executor is wanting to transfer property to me. I'm wondering how long the application would take?
Many thanks0 -
