    Hi Folks,
I submitted my N180 form (using advice from 'Newbies') and currently trying to document defence.

In the mean time I have received a further CCL for another offence in a Moto car park at services where I outstayed my welcome and ignored the fine/chase letters.

This is a separate instance, and CP Plus (not UKPCP). Do they communicate? Does the Court process know of each separate claim against me?

    TIA ~Harbmeister.

The courts don't cross check to see if a claimant has more than one claim against the same defendant, let along a different PPC.
It is unlikely the PPCs will talk to each other about individual run of the mill cases.

Parking claims are heard in the small claims courts, and the result of one, win or lose, has no bearing on any other case.

You should start another thread about the new PCN if you the manager/CEO doesn't cancel this following a complaint.

You should complain to your MP as well.

Not sure what you mean here.  Surely if you have a N180 (DQ) you have already submitted/documented your defence?  Do you mean witness statement?

    Hello Wise Folks,

After various letters and emails following the court process, and an offer to settle which I ignored, today I received…

We act for the Claimant in the above matter.
Our client has instructed us to discontinue Court proceedings and close our file. Therefore, please find enclosed the Claimant’s N279 Notice of Discontinuance for your records.
The attached has also been filed with the Court.
We will now proceed to close our file accordingly.

Sincere thanks to all who assisted me here.
Please add a feather to your cap 👍
    Woohoo!

    ANOTHER DISCONTINUANCE!

ANOTHER UKPC ONE BITES THE DUST!

And we sincerely hope @Harbmeister that you are au fait with the need to respond to the final Govt Public Consultation?

Hopefully - amongst all the political disruption - it will be open later this year.

We all need to ram the nail in the coffin of the false £70 'DRA fee' add-on, that actually funds the court claim and toxic CCJ culture, as well as the DRA gaslighting of people.

If PPCs manage to turn around the decision on banning the gaslighting / claim-funding 'fees' then the DLUHC will be rubber-stamping £200 parking charges and if that happens, they (Government) and the PPCs will wreck high streets and people's lives.  Whoever is responsible, if that happens (and it very nearly did in 2021) must hang their heads in shame.

Just checking you are among those ready to respond to the questions as you have personal experience of how this crap feels?

Please come back here when it opens, and you can make sure you don't miss the Consultation:

If you are not a regular reader, to be alerted you'll need to bookmark the thread by MSE_JC at the top of the forum and enable (on your profile) email alerts for bookmarked threads.

Then join us when the Consultation opens.

Sorry if you knew all this already - I had no time to check back through the thread.

58th notch now carved on my bedpost! 😊
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
