Computer repair

Hello, I  took my daughters laptop to a computer shop to be repaired. In the bottom  right corner of the lid the bezel was coming away and getting worse when opening and closing the lid. I was told it would eventually break the screen and was told it needed a new top lid ( not the whole lid and sceen )
It came to about £175. When i picked up the laptop he said to my horror that at some time in the future it may happen again. Less than a week later the same problem is happening in tthe other corner of the lid. I am taking it back today, hower I and sure this person is going to fob me off. If he does does anyone know what rights i have ? Is there any process I can start. My thought is if i took the laptop in for the first time today with this problem he woud recommend a new top lid, which has already been done, although the new fault is in a different corner it's stil related to the lid. Can I please have your thoughts, many thanks in advance

  • Hi again, just got back from shop ( very quick ) and was told this time it's just the plastic bezel and nothing serious. Maybe I've just got carried away. Thanks for looking, please close this thread,. Thank you
