ebay Glitch - check international postage

For a few years now I have not sold directly overseas, my lsitings are only enabled for GSP. However I have just gone to relist a few bits and pieces on my private account due to a FVF offer and suddenly they are all enabled to be sold to the Russian Federation, no other country though. I assume ebay are doing somehting after their announcement that sales to Russia were being stopped- but it looks like they have pressed the wrong button somewhere!

But when you are listing your own items to sell there should still be the option to sell to UK only. You can still choose. You don't have to use whatever eBay may have 'enabled'.

I rarely sell but when I do it's only to UK.

Today, my eBay page, in respect of postage, states -

"Excludes: Bolivia, Haiti, Liberia, Nicaragua, Turkmenistan, Paraguay, Mauritius, Sierra Leone, Venezuela, Ukraine, Russian Federation".

So there may be some glitch on your page? Although I must say I've never seen that statement before on mine - it definitely is excluding Russian Federation AND Ukraine. among others.

    Mysterious?

Thank you but my settings have been the same for many years. I exclude all overseas - I have the 'none' box ticked and GSP only enabled. Then when re listing the overseas box is no longer ticked but left open and with only the Russian federation showing as available. Some of these are re lists which have been changed, but not by me.

There are a few other mentions on other forums - but the suggestion is that some people re listing might not see that their established preferences have been changed. I have just relisted a few more and it looks like whatever the glitch was it has now been fixed anyway- but I will continue to double check my lsitings going forward.
