Kitchen worktop height low

Do you mean that the high wall cabinet height meant that you reduced the height of the floor units initially? I see how that would be a problem.

i'm 193cm tall and I had my kitchen fitted as high as possible according to the legs, it's still only 920mm after the floor tiles went down but I think every little helps. I think if I had to use a worktop at 870mm for any length of time I'd be looking at a back injury.
infact if I did another kitchen I'd consider making it 50mm higher.
I've worked in houses purposely built for extra-tall people before, 7ft doors(2133mm) and 1m worktops and it made me jealous!0 -
If the work surfaces, and especially the sink, are too low it means us tall people unfortunately can't help in the kitchen.fenwick458 said:i'm 193cm tall and I had my kitchen fitted as high as possible according to the legs, it's still only 920mm after the floor tiles went down but I think every little helps.
