Help Please Digi TV Recorder

Please could someone help. I have a Thompson Digi TV recorder, it is only a month old.
Everything worked fine until last night, now in the GUIDE section where all the programmes are listed, (where you normally scroll down to choose the programme you want) has totally disappeared.

I have tried downloading everything again, but no luck, any suggestions as to why, and how do I fix it?:o

I have tried unpluging it from the main, but still no luck what else can i try?

Go into the OSD setup screens and check the settings for the program guide. Make sure the region is right for where you are, and that it is using the transmitted guide (unless you have subscribed to something else, of course). The setting is sometimes called EIT (enhanced info transmission? I dunno!)
