Advantage Card Moral Dilemma

I'm not one for checking my receipts thoroughly, generally, if they say at the till a number that's fairly close to what I estimated while shopping, I am happy and just screw up the receipt in my pocket. Anyway, I noticed that sometimes my shopping in Boots was coming in at less that I expected, so finally checking my receipt I noticed I am receiving a "60 or Over Save", giving me a 10% discount on all Boots own brand products (see the Health Club details page). "Great", I hear you say; problem is that I'm not over 60 - I'm only 28.
Now I think what may have happened is that I am a messy writer (due to dyspraxia) and sometimes my 7s look like a little like 1s, it is possible that when the data entry person added my details 1979 looked like 1919. I think this because whenever the advantage card machine asks for my date of birth for security (when I tried to update my address), it never accepts my real one.
Anyway, what should I do:
a) :A be honest and let Boots know about their mistake
or
b) :silenced: keep schtum and keep getting the discount

as a kinda ex employee!!! i'd give them a ring and tell them as there is also the chance of you getting served by a not so nice sales assistant and them questioning you about the card. The card is still the property of boots so they could confiscate it.. Me personally if i served someone and they were got the discount wouldn't bat an eyelid as boots have enough profits but is a team manager or funny SA was to spot it they could kick up a stink and embarrass you0

I would keep quiet. If anybody questioned you, I would say you are buying the products on behalf of an elderly relative and are using their card.:j30/7/10:j

I wouldn't say anything, if they asked you you hadn't noticed and you can give the reason you already gave us. After all you didn't do it deliberately, they inputted the data incorrectly.0

up to you.... but its kinda like me using my old NUS card where possible and no I'm no longer a student.
Some people have higher standards... just do what you think is right. Don't let the niggly feeling inside eat you up.0 -

Sorry if this is the wrong board, I did a search for "advantage card" and all discussions about them seemed to be in this board, there doesn't seem to be a specific "loyalty card" board0
