Our daughter and her OH want to get married in October at Manhattan City Hall. The booking website for Project Cupid (honestly!) shows no appointments available for any date at all. Does anyone have experience of how the system works and how far ahead you can book?

According to the website New York City City Hall Wedding you can't pre-book - it's just a case of 'turn up and join the queue'.  Looks like you have to get a marriage license at least 24 hours earlier too.
(Edit - perhaps you need to apply online for the marriage license before being able to  make an appointment for the wedding?  see City Clerk (nyc.gov))

We got married in New York at the city clerks office in 2017. We didn’t book anything at all in advance.

We turned up on day 1 with ID and got our marriage license.
Then retuned the next day and showed the license, then get put in queue for ceremony.

    Very smooth and efficient process.
