I’m so glad that you’ve got the property you wanted - that must have been such a relief!!1 -

My first house I made an offer of £215,000 in August. It was rejected. I noticed it was reduced mid September to £230,000 from £240,000 and made the same offer dependant on it being removed from market and no further viewings. It took them a week to accept and until early Feb to exchange for a March completion. I found that acceptance to exchange the most nerve wracking. Because you're now investing in a house that you have no guarantee of getting.
The next time it took even longer to accept and a bit of negotiations from asking of £160,000 and my offer of £140,000 eventually settling on £146,000 but that was after viewing around 20 other properties and a month or so's tooing and froing with a large round trip between. So the 5 months waiting between offer and exchange & completion on the same day caused huge amounts to stress.
I think what I'm trying to say is strap in and try not to let it get to you. You'll get there eventually and hopefully all the worry will just be a distant memory!1
