Just a quick heads up.
Last night I contacted EON NEXT as I was having issues logging into their new site.
The initial automated voice recording said their fixed deal (V11 1 year fixed) had now finished, but after waiting inline to speak with a customer service rep to sort out my log in issues I was then offered a couple of deals on a new fixed tariff.
The 2 deals were :
A newer version V11 fixed for 1 year , that came out as £217 per month based on our current usage for both gas & electric, or & a 2 year fixed V18 for £223.79 per month, I opted for the 2 year V18 fixed as it was only £6 more expensive fixed for 2 years.
Today I had to contact them again as our new tariff hadn't updated on our smart meter, I took the opportunity to ask if the 2 year fixed V18 was still the best option for me and was told that out of the 2 deals it was the best option and both the deals were still open but customers had to speak in person to a customer services rep and could NOT swap to these deals online.
But unbelievably since yesterday the tariffs for the new version of the V11 1 year fixed had now been increased again , and if I opted for that deal today it would cost a staggering £295 per month based on our current usage, but yesterday the same deal would of been £217 per month, obviously I stuck with the 2 year fixed.
So if anyone is with EON NEXT and they want to find a fixed deal, Eon are still offering 2 deals, but you must speak with a customer services rep in person.
The 2 year fixed V18 seems to be the best choice, but you'll need to calculate this for yourselves.
There's also no exit fee on any of their deals, so if things change for the better you can just swap to a better deal.

Also bare in mind that "capped prices" are not included for fixed deals, at least not with EON/EON NEXT.0
