St Andrews Life Assurance Policy

Hello there!
I was wondering if anyone could help me fathom this one out - sadly my Mum has alzheimers and not lots of time left. Upon checking her bank statements I see she has been paying St Andrews Life Assurance monthly for... decades (but that's a guess). I can find no paperwork in the house... no statements etc, so not sure what's happened with that.
And I am trying to find a contact for the policy so I can contact them on her behalf but can't find anything online - which made me concerned for its legitimacy (she is still paying this policy even now).
Can anyone advise next steps? Thanks so much - this is a head scratcher and I hate to think Mum was taken advantage of. - Elly

Sandtree has given the St Andrews general insurance details but the Life Company was merged into Scottish Widows. The address has recently changed from Dalkeith toScottish WidowsPO Box 2417169 Morrison StreetEdinburghEH3 1HLI am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). That 0345 030 6244 telephone number is the one that belongs to ex Halifax stakeholder pensions, guaranteed investment plans and personal investment plans purchased in branch. However, it's all part of Lloyds Banking Group and administered by SW.

I have the same issue as Elly above as in my mum also has Alzheimers and does not have much longer to live. I also cannot find any paperwork but the payments are currently being taken off mum's bank account and is marked as active. Was this solution ever found? I have found St Andrews Insurance Brokers but I don't think this is the correct place. Can anyone please help me with this? The bank statement states St Andrews Life !!!!!! and shows as being active.0

Was this solution ever found? The posts above yours give the address and potential telephone number. As mentioned, St Andrews is an old Halifax brand and Scot Wid do the servicing on those now.Another telephone number is 0345 608 0390, which is for the old St Andrews over 50s life assurance plan. Just in case it is that. However, even if you get the wrong SW telephone number, they should be able to find the policy and transfer you internally ot the correct team. However, unless you have power of attorney, do not expect them to be that "helpful" on the phone. They may try their best but without POA they will be limited in what they can tell you.
