Treasurer Accounts - fee-free for charities and not-for-profit associations

There is a useful thread on this forum relating to Treasurer Accounts, particularly those used by unincorporated associations such as community groups, Cub and Brownie packs, social groups, etc. Understandably, because that thread goes back to 2004, it has now been closed, but the difficulties caused by many banks no longer offering such accounts have recently become more pressing.
I've been maintaining a thread in "Praise, Vents & Warnings" about a decision by HSBC Bank PLC - a most awful bank, and one that has recently been fined £63.9 million for shortcomings in its procedures that should help prevent money-laundering - to close all of our accounts, and the reason for posting here is that Clydesdale Bank, trading as Virgin Money, are still offering fee-free Treasurer Accounts for charities and not-for-profit unincorporated associations. We had a few issues with the account-opening process but now have a current account, 95-day deposit account (this best meets our needs, other deposit accounts are available), debit card, cheque book, and on-line banking - all fee-free.
